Prezi is a visual tool for presenting information. I like to refer to it as "Power Point on Steroids!" With a Prezi, a viewer can explore and is not necessarily tied into a linear presentation.

I don't use this one with younger students because they get easily frustrated. But once the older students 7th-12th learn the ins and outs, they take off with it and it becomes a powerful tool.

Ways to use Prezi in Library Class:
  • Visual booktalks...easy to embed YouTube book trailers, author photos/biographies, etc.
  • Make a visual map of a book (Can you imagine the world of Harry Potter as a Prezi?)
  • Any way that you would use PowerPoint is also good for Prezi!
